The Orlando Magic draft guard J.J. Redick from Duke with the 11th selection. I think Redick will fit in decently with the Magic, but I have doubts as to whether he is a starter.
The Orlando Magic will pick 11th in the 2006 draft. Pat Williams represented the Magic during the draft lottery tonight but unfortunately did not influence the lottery with his past luck. Potential players that might be available at #11 include Rodney Carney, Ronnie Brewer and possibly J.J. Redick. Check back for more info and analysis as draft day approaches.
While the Magic are making a decent run at the #1 pick for next year, I believe I discovered a solid second-rounder. According to ESPN.com, "Northwestern College's Deb Remmerde's streak of 133 straight free throws -- the longest in organized basketball history -- is over." The college girl had a streak of 22 games without a missed free throw. Read more @ ESPN...

Tonight, at 7:00pm on ESPN, the 2005 NBA Draft will take place. The Magic have the 11th overall pick and the 38th and 44th picks in the second round.
