Magic vs Charlotte

Dwight Howard for three as time expires in the second half. Trevor Ariza throws down a vicious dunk - somebody will need to stay late and scrape Okafor up off the floor. Simply put, the Magic were clicking well tonight and disposed of the Charlotte Bobcats rather easily tonight, 106-74. The Magic really poured it on in the fourth quarter.

Howard finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Jameer Nelson continued to play well, putting up 20 points and 3 assists. Hedo Turkoglue dropped in 14 points to help the cause. Ariza finished up with 10 points and 9 rebounds - but the dunk on Okafor was the sick play of the year so far.

Grant Hill and Keyon Dooling missed the game tonight. Darko Milicic went out early in the first half with an injury and Hedo Turkoglu came up a little shaken on a play in the fourth quarter - so we'll have to wait to see how they are on Sunday. Hill and Dooling are expected back on Sunday.

I have to give the coaching staff another compliment. The Magic have been trying hard to get J.J. Redick minutes on the floor. That's all I ask. A few minutes in the first half - while the game is still close. Just need to get the kid a few minutes so that he is comfortable with the game. You never know when you might need to call his number for a signifcant contribution. J.J. got a few minutes to close out the game as well and finished with 8 points.

I might have pulled the trigger too soon on Pat Garrity. Garrity went 2-2 from the three point line tonight.
