The Magic win #6 in a row and 11th at home. This team is playing good basketball - even on the bad nights. Not that tonight was bad, but the Magic came out flat to start the game. The Magic do their part in the playoff race and beat the Toronto Raptors, 103-96. Jameer Nelson put up big numbers tonight, scoring 27 points and dishing 7 assists.
Dwight Howard had another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Hedo Turkoglu continues to have solid games. Turk finished with 18 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Turkoglu just looks so much more comfortable on the court lately. I think he is finally taking to that starting small forward spot and I don't see him giving it up anytime in the next few years.
As for the rest of the team, well - they didn't hurt the team. The bench did just enough to get the win tonight. I think not having Carlos Arroyo come of the bench makes that second group a little weak. Individually they are not as good as the whole - just my opinion. Arroyo brings a certain level of competition to the floor every night.
The Magic had 22 assists with only 11 turnovers. When the team plays like that, they will have a chance every night to win games.
