Training camp

Training camp opens October 4th for the Orlando Magic. The Magic will be holding camp at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. On October 8th, there will be an open practice session for the fans. Admission is free. I don't have the actual time, but I believe it usually starts around 6 or 7pm and lasts for about 1 hour. The open practice allows the fans to get an early look at how the team is shaping up for the season. Pre-season games begin the following Tuesday, October 11th.

That's pretty cool, the open practice and all. I wonder if my local teams do that... Any idea if thats common around the league or just a Magic thing?

Very cool indeed. I think most teams do that now, don't they?

I went to the exhibition game @ unf and got to meet all the players it was really great. I just have a question, does anyone know the name of the player in Jersey # 40 that night?
