Game notes - Warriors

Magic lose a close one tonight against the Golden State Warriors, 113-109. The team hung around all night, trying to put the Warriors away, but for whatever reason, the Warriors played hard and pulled out the W. The difference in the end was Steve Francis fouling out.

On the defensive side, we were clearly not there. The individual defense isn't too bad - but we're definitely not playing up to the potential. Kelvin Cato had a decent game statistically, but he still looked rusty out on the floor. Dwight Howard also looked a little out of it, possibly frustrated with the amount of touches he is getting lately.

Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson provided good minutes off the bench. They finished with 15 and 16 points respectively and 4 assists each. We were a Pat Garrity three pointer away from pulling this out. Any little extra out of our bench tonight would have provided enough spark to get the win in an ugly game.
