Game notes - Celtics

The Magic lay an egg in the fourth quarter and lose the Celtics for the 3rd time this season, 112-100. I don't know what the deal is with these Celtics, but we are flat out getting handled by these scrubs. Ok, maybe that's a little harsh - but 3 times is enough. Down the stretch, the shots just weren't falling as the Magic only score 12 points to close out the game. At least play defense, ugh, Celtics put up 29 to finish the game.

Defense was not all that great, other than the usual bright spots. Doug Christie recorded 4 steals on the night. Tony Battie pulled down 11 rebounds; Dwight Howard disappeared for the night. Grant Hill was a little off tonight, only putting up 8 points. Hill did have 7 assists and 8 rebounds. Even though Howard was off a little - the team contributed to the rebounding for a collective effort.

Bench play was pretty much non-existent, except for Hedo Turkoglu. The Turk put up 22 points tonight, but that was offset by Hill's slow night. We need others on the bench to step up more reliably.
