The Tracy McGrady for Steve Francis deal is finally done. We were also able to get rid of Juwan Howard's big contract, Tyron Lue and Reece Gaines. The Magic picked up Cuttino Mobley and Kevin Cato. I would expect both the be moved before the start of the season.

Everyone else is still up in the air if they will be back.
Players on the trading block or free agents include DeShawn Stevenson, Drew Gooden, Andrew DeClercq, Sean Rooks, Derrick Dial, Britton Johnsen. Second round draft pick Anderson Varejao is also up in the air.

Cato and Mobley wont be traded. You will see Stevens and Gooden go before the Houston boys. In a team that has not played together, you aren't going to get rid of three starters who have already played together. That would be stupid. Watch out for a Gooden for Ray Allen trade asap.
Wow, a very good deal for the Magic to make. I seriously think they will be a contender this season or next season in the weak east. Their starting five could be Dwight Howard,Jameer Nelson, Steve Francis,Grant Hill, and Mobely if they keep him. Sorry I probably got some of the positions wrong but if you compare that lineup to last year, you will see how much better it is.
Not a bad deal for the Magic considering McGrady wanted out. The backcourt is solid with Francis and Mobley and you've got a good backup in Nelson. All these guys are young, too, so if you can retain them and wait for D-Howard to develop, the future of the team ain't bad.

With the trade and draft you are good to go why sign augmon, hedo, and bradley,we could have used that money foy dampier. Grant,deshawn, or bogans,are better players.
I hate to see McGrady go but I wouldn't want to see him unhappy. I am really glad Orlando made a smart move and kept Francis, Mobley, and Cato together. Smart improvement for The Magics.
