Tracy McGrady did it again last night. McGrady threw the ball off the glass to himself for a crowd pleasing dunk. It was the second All-Star game in which McGrady provided such a highlight and third time in his career. The other time was against the Toronto Raptors last year. It never amazes me to see the defense turn to see where the pass is going, only to realize that it is coming back off the glass. It hardly seems as if McGrady is moving that quickly, but then he just explodes to the basket and it is too late for anyone to do anything. I really would like to see more of this during the regular season, not the off-the-glass dunks, but determined drives to the basket.

I was impressed with the pump fake on Garnett that got him an easy drive to the basket. Again 6 three pointers. When will this guy just give up. Take 3 or 4 a game man. That Defense he played on Garnett at the end was excellent. I wish he did more of that in the regular season.
The one series where he pulled up for that 3 with Garnett in his face, and then the other end where he shut Garnet down - man - that is scary at how great McGrady could be when he wants to play.
Wow I think the Magic front office is one giant pansey. They cant imagine a big trade happening? Something has to happen here. These guys have to get players that will play Defense and help Mcgrady out on offense. They HAVE to trade or do something for goodness sake. They cant keep this team the way it is.
My oh my, the agility this man possesses! If it were only as simple as he makes it look! I must agree that I would like to see Mcgrady take less 3's and more mid-range/drives to the basket. You just cant help but be amazed at his ability, even though his ostentatious behavior is bad for his game. I predict he will be at the top of his game by the year 2006/2007. He will be much mature and less showy, which is what makes players like Jason Kidd, Tim Duncan and Grant Hill (Pistons) winners.
