Game Notes - Utah

Well, well. The Magic finally showed up for a home game. What a great all around game! I was glad to see Juwan Howard finally get back into the mix. It was refreshing to finally see Tracy McGrady play with some determination and bring this game home. Let's hope we can rattle off 3 or 4 more of these games.

I saw some potential out on the court tonight. Steven Hunter played pretty hard tonight in his first start since being removed from the starting lineup. He had a few small lapses on defense - but I'll take what we got and won't comment any further. Maybe it was the rumor that he might get cut before the season ends that sparked this latest effort.

Will someone please do something with Tyronn Lue? Ugh. Why is he starting at point again? At this point, I would rather see Grant Hill @ESPN" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=2626" target="_blank">Grant Hill playing point forward in a wheel chair or on crutches rather than go through another game watching Lue. It makes my stomach turn.

Trade deadline is tomorrow at 3pm. Expect something to go down - hopefully 2 big trades will go down. At this point though, I will take whatever we can get. However, if nothing major goes down - I expect Gabe to be fired at season's end.

Wow, they beat the Jazz! Not exactly a milestone but a win is a win. I love your comment on Ty Lue. Lets just say he shouldnt be on this team next season. Hunter plays with much enthusiasm on the defensive end every time he is getting the minutes. I would love to see Drew Gooden play with that much passion....on defense. Come on Gabe lets get some good trades going?
