Tracy McGrady did not play in tonight's game due to a death in the family. With the current state of this team, there is little hope for the team to win (outscore) against another team. At times the Magic played as a group - showing a little sign of defense. I am glad to see some balanced scoring - and that our team distributed the ball decently. I am upset, however, that Keith Bogans @ESPN" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3746" target="_blank">Keith Bogans grabbed 8 rebounds. Why? Because he had the most on the team. Ugh. Juwan Howard had 5 rebounds - not going to cut it. Drew Gooden had seven rebounds - better - but nowhere near his potential.
Steven Hunter update - for the back and forth going around: Hunter had 7 points, 2 rebounds and 0 blocks in 15 minutes.

Zaza 0 rebounds 0 points 0 blocks 7 minutes. Hunter 3-3 from the field. Nough said. Declercq 2 points 2 rebounds 0 blocks. Seems to me that Hunter was still the most effective big man. Gooden Doubled hunters minutes and only gave us 1 block. Bogans has a little Mcgrady 3 point fever. Stop taking so damn many 3's. Gordan is a smart player never taking too many.
Maybe it's just my imagination or wishful thinking; but, except for a few defensive 'misteps', I thought they played fairly well and stayed with the Clippers for the most part; and gosh, they even went over 100 without their leader! I think the way to solve Steven Hunter's problem, perceived or not, is to start him and play him until he wants to come out of the game, win, lose or draw; and leave Drew Gooden on the bench until he changes his attitude; since he cannot or will not play decent ball when Juwan Howard is on the floor at the same time.
