Magic vs. San Antonio, 8pm

The Magic play the world champion San Antonio Spurs tonight at 8pm. The Spurs were my favorite team years ago when everyone else was rooting for the Chicago Bulls. Now, the days of David Robinson and Dennis Rodman are gone - and its just Tim Duncan. I thoroughly expect a good ass kicking tonight even though the Spurs are in a bit of slump. However, if the Magic can manage to put together a solid 48 minute effort - this would be the perfect confidence booster.

Let's GO MAGIC!!!

I am a little more optimistic with each passing game; however, the Magic will not win tonight unless McGrady puts forth at least a 110% or better effort in each quarter, not just the first and a portion of another. You know, I also had a strange dream about tonight's game; and in it, Johnny Davis kept both Zaza Pachulia and Rod Stickland on the bench, I guess so the rest of the team wouldn't look quite so bad! That was supposed to be a joke - good luck guys!

What up! This is John Osayomi. You have never heard of me before but I gotta talk alot. last year Orl Magic was doin ok.but now in yall 15 year history you get 17 losses straight. there were many Magic fans i used to now... You see, (Used To Know), past tense. Every one i know that USED to like the Orl Magic gave up on them. But not me, causel believe you can still do it. Oh yea, people also sayin that Orl Magic an't makin it to the PLAYOFFS. Yall ca still do it but you all need to do it. You all lost Darrel Armstrong. Last year yall major weapon was 3points. Whoooooooooo! yall used to kill it. But when you went off to the playoffs and lost 3 games straight that was when you really began to mess up. Tonight when you go against your opponent, The San Antonio Spurs. You better show some improvement. You got Rod Strickland.

another loss. *sigh* i don't even think i want to watch the dallas game. i'll watch them against the wizards, by then they should have a chance. but i don't think magic can contend with dallas' offense. that's going to be a blowout for dallas.

Now even Johnny Davis is whining about Tracy McGrady being tired and not getting enough time off the court; he still had enough energy to continually shoot ineffective jumpers; I guess his 26% FG average against Tim Duncan's 56%, came about due to his playing 4 minutes longer than Duncan did with no double-teaming; wow, no wonder Duncan wasn't tired! Poor McGrady, with three or four blue jerseys around him all night; his teammates still couldn’t get it done! I think we've heard about every 'limp' excuse there is, and from about any whining cry-baby that gets a microphone poked in his mouth! It's about time for the team to get down to the basics and forget the hoopla; quit shooting before the shot clock has even gotten to the halfway point, realize that mostly good things happen when you take the ball to the basket, have an idea of where and who you might be passing the ball to, and last but not least, realize that your feet won't stick to the painted area of the floor when challenging opponents in that area of the court! If McGrady doesn't realize that his 'morale', or lack thereof is a direct result of getting 'shut-down' by the actions of the other team; then maybe he will also realize that it doesn't make a 'hoot' how many points he scores, but 'when' he gets them; listen you idiot, you're supposed to deliver points in the worst of the 'clutch' situations, that's what you're getting the big bucks to do! I'll say one more thing about McGrady last night; he sure made one or two mediocre players on the Spurs team look good!
