Alright! Another win for the Magic - and this one on the 2nd game of a back-to-back. The Magic played a solid game and really frustrated the Hawks throughout the game. Big 'Z' had another big game tonight. Z put up 7 points and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes. This guy is really deserving of more minutes - especially come 4th quarter. Shammond Williams had a horrible night of shooting but still played a great game. Even though I think the Magic are stronger with him running the point - I like him coming off the bench better. Tyronn Lue was out tonight with a (hip flexor/left groin injury) - so that moved Williams into the starting lineup. Juwan Howard is becoming more consistent in his spot - which everyone pretty much knew would happen. It's really good to see Drew Gooden starting to fit in more with his role. Even off the bench he is getting good minutes and good numbers. I would like to Z and Donnell Harvey on the floor a little more than what they are currently getting - but every game is different.
Why haven't we seen much of Keith Bogans @ESPN" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3746" target="_blank">Keith Bogans lately? At least give this guy 4-5 minutes. I am waiting for the first of the year to see what we can do with some of the dead weight. Hopefully we can improve the team just a little more. And if it does happen, having Grant Hill @ESPN" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=2626" target="_blank">Grant Hill back for the last month or so - would be great. If he is cleared to play, I would start playing him 10 minutes a game or so just to get the confidence and NBA legs back. Even if we are not in the race for a playoff spot or the management don't want him playing - I still think getting him on the court would be a huge psychological boost for next year.

Your right ZAza needs more minutes. We need a physical presence and he fits the role. I dont think he should be starting but he does need more minutes. Donnel harvey too is in need of practice but his energy and defense deserves him of more minutes. Juwan is playing much better and makes a good post presence, as does the young Drew Gooding who game is on the rise. I agree with davis benching gooden, not only does he bring energy off the bench, but also would be playing out of position with Juwan starting as well. Here is my theory. Despite the record I think orlando has a good team. Better then last year as well. But getting past the first round will be a challenge again this year. If grant hill were healthy they would wipe out the east and either win or give a good fight for the Nba Championship.
