ESPN is reporting that sources close to the Magic may be considering Johnny Davis or Dave Wohl next in line to replace Doc. Woah, wait a minute - let's not overreact here. I agree that Doc's time is up - but to just handout positions to persons next in line is not the solution. Does anyone remember the Brian Hill fiasco? At the very least, postpone the firing and look at all options before jumping the gun. I think Doc is a better coach than either of those two. If were just going to go handing out positions, then I'm starting a petition for GM.
Britton Johnsen was released from his contract and Derek Dial has been added to the roster. I sure hope this was not just to provide a quick fix for the injury to Shammond Williams. Williams was placed on the injury list and Gordan Giricek has been activated.
