Doc Rivers mentioned in his post game news conference that this team is two things away from being a good team, er better team. However, they are not the two things he mentioned. We are a good center and a great coach away from having a good team. We officially have no starting center now. Tracy McGrady played a good first half and a decent second half. He lacked a little of the intensity in the second half that he had from the first. Drew Gooden is playing well but not up to his potential. He needs to get deeper into the post and stop settling for the outside shot so much.
Keith Bogans @ESPN" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3746" target="_blank">Keith Bogans - what more can I say about this guy. He is earning good minutes on the floor - and rightfully so. Bogans comes every night to play hard and it shows. I like having this guy on the floor for the majority of the game.
Will the real Steven Hunter please stand up? I really hope we can get a little more consistent play for this guy - so that we can trade his ass for the Raptor's mascot. I would really hate to give up another future draft pick.
Oh, we are three things short - we are also missing a decent general manager. Can I get a Pat Riley?

Should have never gotten rid of the Big Fella... Live and learn, I guess. Hopefully Kobe keeps a keen eye on what T-Mac has to live with, and takes a long hard thought about this, before deciding on what he wants to do with his free agency at year's end...
I think Tracy McGrady lacked a little more than intensity in the second half. He seemed to get lazy as the game went on. He definetely played a much better game, but the team as a whole seems to give up before the game is even over. I think once they win one, things will pick up. This game was a huge improvement on defense in my opinion. Maybe the next game will be their game.
What can I say!!! I want some wins... I agree that Bogans has been playing very good and hopefully we can see more of him. LOL steven Hunter traded for the Raptor's mascot?? Thats funny!! I think Lue needed to have a great game for us to win. I don't want to think what will become of us if T-Mac keep trying to put the team on his bad back.
I think the one thing the Magic need is for Grant Hill to magically overcome his injury. His contract won't allow Orlando to go get enough other good players to complement McGrady. I still think Rivers is a good enough coach, and it's not like there are tons of big men in the East you have to match up against either.
Doc Rivers is a "good enough" coach to get 50 wins, however he is not a great coach that is going to take the Magic to the championship.
I think I speak for most Raptors fans when I say that it will take more than Steven Hunter to pry "The Raptor" from us. He's the best mascot in the NBA! Now if you were offering a decent point guard, that would be a different story. These days, we'd trade our grandmothers for a decent PG.
It's a moot point - you could be the BEST coach in the East, even if you get to the Finals you're going home in 4.
Well I'm just surfing the net seeing if I can find articles about my brother and I came to this and all I have to say is that I'm Steven Hunter's sister and I personally think that all of you need to stop because that damn mascot aint shit compared to my brother so if you want to be funny, talk about your damn self. :-)
I'm not trying to be mean or affend you but just put yourself in my shoes and think what you would say about this.
Aahahaha. Well, it's all out of good fun. Seriously though - if you are his sister - then maybe you can pass along some constructive criticism. Dunk the ball with two hands and go after every rebound. Oh, and please - please - stop playing with his shorts and shirt. I would love for Steven to turn into the moster defensive presence that this team needs. I justhave serious doubts about his desire and effort in the game. If he could address those two issues - then I would be his biggest fan. Just have him put as much into the game as Zaza and Bogans.
