I think the game started out pretty well. The difference early on was McGrady came out playing and the rest of the team fed off of his energy and enthusiasm. All the other players were playing well, even Steven Hunter. I know, I was just as shocked as you were to see him pull down a rebound. Actually, he got 3 rebounds in 24 minutes. However, my man - the Big Z (Zaza) pulled down 6 in 18 minutes. And he was busting his ass all over the court. If Doc doesn't give this guy another 6-10 minutes per game - there is something seriously wrong with our coaching staff.
The end of the game, the Magic just stopped playing defense and Gooden took a couple bad shots. The defense up to this point in the season has been a huge improvement over last year. When Pat Garrity and Gordie are back in the line up, we will see a different Magic team. I still expect Hunter to be traded soon.

I agree that we will see a difference once Garrity is back. We need his 3-pointers.
Not so much his 3-pointers as his ability to shoot the ball and spread the floor. He has a good feel for finding the open spot on the floor for T-Mac and others to dish the ball to. He will be more beneficial this year to the Magic is he doesn't have to guard the bigger players like he had to last year.
