It's October 31st, Halloween. Or to most Magic fans, it's the start of a brand new season. Thank god. Well, almost. The Orlando Magic and BrightHouse had to go and screw up 75% of Central Florida's coverage area. So, most of us fans won't even be able to see the game tonight. A lot of people are coming down hard on BrightHouse for this. Usually I won't waste a good opportunity to bash them, this one lies solely on management staff of the Orlando Magic. What bonehead makes a decision just before the start of the season to turnover broadcast rights to a cable TV station that has less than 25% market penetration in your core area? Idiots. Complete idiots. At worst, you phase in a plan to replace your production team over the course of the year. But hey, they got their new shiny arena deal. Hopefully, they still have some fans who will show up when (and if) the thing ever gets built.
