Magic vs Detroit

The Magic lose a close one tonight to the Detroit Pistons, 87-83. Dwight Howard had a quiet first half, but still managed a decent game overall. Howard finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds but got little help from his Magic teammates. Trevor Ariza played fairly hard and finished with 10 points. Grant Hill posted 12 points against his former team.

The Magic were leading most of the game until the final minutes when Detroit hit a couple clutch baskets to give them a somewhat comfortable lead in a close game. The Magic left 12 points on the line as they went 22-34 from the line as a team. Howard went 11-13, so the rest of the team only shot 11-21 from the line. Missing 10 free throws, and losing by just four - that hurts.

There was no follow-up on how severa Hedo Turkoglu's injury was. I'll post back if I hear anything new.
