Magic at Los Angeles Clippers

The Magic looked a little sluggish tonight as they lose by a landslide to the Los Angeles Clippers, 116-91. Suprisingly, Dwight Howard was practically a no-show. I really thought he'd go at fellow Team USA member Elton Brand. Howard finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds but his normal high energy just was not as present as usual.

Overall, the turnovers (16) and assists (18) were pretty good tonight. I feel the Magic did enough tonight on the offensive end but the energy and effort just wasn't there on the defensive end. The Magic big men could not control Elton Brand; the second consecutive night that the opposing team's big man had their way. On a night like this, where defensive energy was questionable, I would have liked to see Bo Outlaw get some minutes with a couple of the starters. I think he could have sparked a little energy with the rest of the group.

With this loss, I feel much better about tomorrow night's game. Let's hope the Magic got the stinker out of the way and can win against the Kings!
