Denver has reportedly made a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers to aquire Allen Iverson in exchange for Andre Miller, Joe Smith and a couple first round picks in 2007. If you ask me, I think the Sixers are getting the better end of the deal. Especially if they keep tanking this season - they could land Ohio State big man Greg Oden in the 2007 draft. My concern for Denver is how well Iverson (#2 in scoring) will play alongside Carmelo Anthony (#1 in scoring).

Sorry to keep commenting, but I think that you've made the wrong call on this one. Denver HAVE to do something while Melo out for 15. I KNEW this trade would happen after the brawl.

Going forwards, I could see them having a 2 unit system a la the magic - Melo leading 1 unit and Iversen leading the other. Would definitely shake things up and force Iversen to play out of his skin - knowing Melo is waiting on the bench!
