The Orlando Magic will pick 11th in the 2006 draft. Pat Williams represented the Magic during the draft lottery tonight but unfortunately did not influence the lottery with his past luck. Potential players that might be available at #11 include Rodney Carney, Ronnie Brewer and possibly J.J. Redick. Check back for more info and analysis as draft day approaches.

RODNEY CARNEY.. i am big fan of this guy.. if the magic get him, my prayers will be answered. he is a jaw dropping athlete with a shooting stroke that can torch the net for hours upon hours... they say he isnt motivated, but they all said the same thing about tmac and where is he now? a consistant allstar, just imagine how stacked our line-up will be in 2 or 3 years when everyone matures.. we would be the team to beat in the NBA
To me, alot depends on whether Grant Hill will be able to play and contribute. A healthy (I know, lol) Grant Hill makes us a championship calibre team w/ any number of different players at the 2G. Without Hill, I think a shooter would help spread the floor so our bigs can control the paint easier. If Grant can squeeze just one solid season out of his body, Jameer, Dwight, Battie, Daaaarko (ONE block.......ah-ah-ah) and the rest just might be able to defend, deny and rebound us all the way to a title.
