Game notes - Magic at Heat

Can you dig it? Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic beat up on the Miami Heat, easily cruising to a 93-84 victory. Howard finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds but scored 8 points in the final quarter to help put the Heat away. Jameer Nelson rebounded from two poor performances to score 26 points.

The only thing that bothered me about this game was the lack of assists. The Magic had only 13 assists while committing 12 turnovers. Not bad - but not good either. The Magic were also out-rebounded by the Heat 37-25. Without the energy from Bo Outlaw, Keyon Dooling and Trevor Ariza - the Magic might have a harder time putting this game away.

Hedo Turkoglu played pretty well considering he was carried off the court in the last game. Turkoglu put up 16 points and hit some very timely baskets.

Carlos Arroyo went out in the first half with a strained hamstring. Arroyo did not play in the second half and is day-to-day.
