The Magic put together back-to-back wins, defeating the Golden State Warriors 103-92. While Jameer Nelson is easing back into his starting point guard spot, the team is getting great contribution from the bench. The last two games, we have seen Bo Outlaw, Carlos Arroyo and Darko Milicic contribute some productive minutes. Hedo Turkoglu showed big tonight for the Magic with 21 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. Anytime you get that kind of production from Hedo, you know the Magic have a chance to win.
After that win last night and realizing the game was not on TV, I decided at the last minute to scramble down to the arena and take in the game. I lucked out (and splurged) on tickets right behind the Magic bench. It had actually been about a year since I last sat in the lower bowl - I just prefer to go to as many games as possible and usually sit in the upper bowl. I had an awesome time tonight. I got some pretty good photos - so I'll post them in the next day or so.
The game was pretty good tonight. The refs did not get too involved in the game and the game flow was pretty good. The Magic played a very energetic game. Although the box score won't show it, Dwight Howard played a little better tonight than he has in the past 2 weeks or so. I'll be glad when get backs to the old Howard; he did have a couple big dunks tonight.
In all, a very entertaining night and the Magic get another win. I can't complain (well, I would like to see Trevor Ariza play a few minutes). Oh, and for those keeping track - I wore my white Magic hat for the 3rd time this season. We are undefeated when I wear the white hat. I thought last night it was because I sat in seat 6 instead of 5 - but tonight I was in an entirely different section. Though, I was in seat 12. Well, we will be back on Wednesday - in a section we never sit in. The seats are in the upper bowl and courtesy of a Magic Fan giveaway for a survery we filled out sometime ago. I'll wear the white hat - just to be sure.
Photos! Great!
How easy is it to turn up and get tickets
With Dwight Howard getting better and better, the future is already bright for Orlando. Just imagine if the rumors prove to be true and the team can sign Lebron James in two years! For news and analysis, check Lebronmeter.com.

I just read a really funny book called “Foul Lines,” by SI hoops writers Jack McCallum and Jon Wertheimer, and I thought y'all would enjoy it. It’s a great satire of the NBA today, with the names changed to protect identities (but it’s very easy to figure out who is who). Everyone gets mocked, from rich owners in the mold of Mark Cuban and the Maloofs to the flamboyant GMs to players like Jason Williams, LeBron, A.C. Green, Doug Christie and others. Wertheim and McCallum also have some funny scenes spoofing David Stern’s obsession with globalization, Stuart Scott’s fake-gangsta persona, and Master P’s attempts to cut it in the NBA. It’s a quick read with an enjoyable plot and solid characters. Here’s the amazon link with some reviews if you want to check it out:

andi - it really depends on who the Magic are playing that night and how well they are doing. Usually you can always get upperbowl tickets - but the lowerbowl seats, especially good ones, can sell out quick.
