Towards the end of the season last year, we had a few players that were hurt and unable to play. We will try to update you with the latest news, but the summer has been pretty quiet so far. With training camp starting in another month, you can expect the activity to pick up very soon. Here is what we know so far.

Hedo Turkoglu had a broken right wrist, which he has fully recovered from and has already begun working on his shooting skills.

Pat Garrity had surgery during the season to repair his knee injury. The summer has been quiet for Garrity. There is currently no news on how Garrity's rehabilitation has progressed.

Grant Hill was held out the last 9 games to prevent further injury. He has spent much of the summer working on quickness and agility. Hill also participated in summer piclup games back in July with other Duke alumni.

Kelvin Cato had surgery in early June to repair a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder. Cato begun rehabilitation a couple weeks ago and is making steady progress. He is expected to be in training camp, although it may be the second week before he can begin full contact practice.

Andrew DeClercq also had some minor surgery during the season to fix his knee problems; there have been no updates since the end of the season. With DeClercq's contract expiring at the end of the season, there is a possibility that we may not seem him in a Magic uniform next year.

As we hear more information, we will post it.
