The Magic send the Knick fans home early tonight. Dwight Howard has a back-to-back monster game as the Magic beat New York, 111-89. Howard finished the game with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.

The team was firing on all cylinders tonight and the team stats really show how well they played. The team dished out 23 assists on 42 baskets while committing only 9 turnovers. They out-rebounded the Knicks 49-21 and shot 51% from the field. All five starters scored in double figures and six players total scored in double figures.

Individually, everyone was good tonight. Grant Hill chips in a quiet 29 points, hitting just about every shot he threw up. Steve Francis had a quite night for his standards, but he had solid contributions with 13 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds and only 2 turnovers.

Tonight though, the rookies stole the show. We already know Howard had another huge game, but how about that other guy. Jameer Nelson plays another solid night at the point guard position, dishing out 7 assists with only 1 turnover.

The team looked really good. Coach had a good rotation tonight, and everyone looked very fresh. The Magic were up 11 at the half thanks to a last minute three by Hedo Turkoglu off a jump ball won by Jameer Nelson. In the third quarter, the Magic came out with energy and jumped on the Knicks to go up by 20.

On a side note, Doug Chrisite was "ill", missing tonight's game and practice yesterday.
