With Grant Hill back in Orlando rehabbing a bruised shin, the Magic looked lost out on the floor as they lose to the Cavaliers, 111-92. The Magic played without the energy we have come to love in the last 3-4 games. Late in the second quarter, they made a small run to close within 4 points. However, to open the third, the team was flat and the fell behind early.
Magic created 17 assists on the night, but turned the ball over 16 times. Jameer Nelson had another solid night at the point guard position. The way Nelson has been playing lately, you have to be really excited about the next few years. Fellow rookie Dwight Howard had an off night and only played 28 minutes tonight. I really feel like Howard controls the energy on the floor for us. Hill or Howard has to be on the floor at all times to keep this team moving.
Give Cleveland the credit though. After losing 6 straight, they came out on a mission. The Cavs drop 33 assists on 45 baskets while turning the ball over only 11 times.
We got solid minutes from Tony Battie tonight and Kelvin Cato picked up another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
