Let's go Magic!

Everyone wants to jump on you when things are down. The media is looking for someone to blame for the Magic's poor record this year. Monday morning quarterbacks are looking for the one thing that is going to turn this franchise around. News flash, these problems have been around for years. Fortunately for us, we had two good things going for the team. Doc Rivers and Tracy McGrady. Doc is gone, and if we are not careful - McGrady will be too.

Now, don't get me wrong - I am not making excuses for anyone. I think it is time for McGrady to stand up to the critics and show why he deserves to be the leader of this team or any other team. We forget this guy is still a kid. We are watching one of the greatest players in basketball grow up right before our eyes. I truly believe this team can win tonight against the Pacers. I will be at the game tonight, cheering just as loud as every past game. All that I am asking for, is for our team to play as hard as they have in the past. Not the past 12 games, but the past few years.

Individually, we have a group of good players. For whatever reason, they have not played well together. After two days off, and no doubt some tough practices - I expect the Magic to come out fired up.

F!! the critics now everybody is talking about the team. It is just like that when we are wining evrybody talks and want to go to the games when we are down everybody talks crap about the team, but they have never supported the team, just a few fans like us that have been there trought thick and thin....LET'S GO MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!

My gut feeling is the Magic have the 'raw' talent; however, they do not have the 'want' or 'will' to play together, caused in part by poor leadership! A great leader can bring out the best in a mediocre team; but I am coming to believe the attitude so pervasive in the management echelons in regard to public perception and fan relations, has permiated itself to the lowest levels of the organization! A team with bad statistics can beat a great team on any given day; however, as a former Pacers fan and knowing what they are capable of, I don't hold out much hope, but having said that, I will be at the game and root for the Orlando Magic to pull this one out!
