Well, as much as I hate to see it happen, it looks as if Darrell Armstrong is on his way out. I cannot say that I disagree with the decision. I think it will be great for Armstrong to play for another team. I also believe that this team could not go any further with him starting or backing up our point guard position. Armstrong is a terrific player - and one player that I feel will deserve a going away party - or maybe just a dinner.
Tyron Lue has signed a 2-year contract. I think this guy will bring a great amount of energy to our team. However, I don't think he will be starting. I think Reece Gaines will show his skills in camp and earn the starting point guard position. Welcome to the team Lue - we are glad to have you. With the addition of Lue, we are gaining a good player with lots of energy. He should be a favorite with the crowd.
